Air leaving a compressor is hot and laden with water, particles and oil. Untreated, it damages seals, clogs directional control valves and marks the workpieces. Air treatment is not an accessory: it is what decides the service life of everything downstream of it.

Air quality is described by the standard ISO 8573-1, which assigns three independent classes for solid particles, water and residual oil. You start by defining the real requirement at the point of use, then work back up the chain: general filtration, drying where the dew point calls for it, fine or activated carbon filtration wherever oil is not acceptable. The FRL unit then gives the station the trio of filtration, regulation and, where needed, lubrication.

  • Do not lubricate as a matter of course: most modern components are lubricated for life and the wrong oil washes out their original grease.
  • A filter is not judged on how it looks but on the pressure drop it creates: change the element according to the indicator or the service interval, not according to the colour of the bowl.
  • Condensate contains oil and must not be discharged to the drain untreated.

We help you size a treatment package to the actual flow of your system and equip each station with its isolating valve and its pressure gauge.
