Energy
Hydropower, anaerobic digestion, biomass, boiler houses and standby generating sets: Hydro Service Auvergne supplies the components, crimps replacement hoses and covers breakdowns on hydraulic power units, in the workshop and on site.
On an energy production site, the hydraulics do not drive the working tool but the control and safety devices. Guard valves and wicket gates on a turbine, hatches and the feed hopper on a digester, ash removal on a biomass boiler house, hydraulic pitch setting on wind turbine blades, hydraulic starting on a standby set. The central component is still the hydraulic power unit: tank, motor-pump assembly, filtration, accumulators and valve blocks.
What counts here is not how fast the breakdown service arrives but availability. An unplanned shutdown costs more than a planned one: you spot the ageing hoses while the plant is running, and replace them during the outage. Two things decide the outcome. Fluid cleanliness first, measured by the ISO 4406 code: on cylinders that move very little, it is particles and water, not cycles, that wear out directional control valves and seals. The accumulators second: they are pressure equipment, subject beyond certain thresholds to in-service monitoring requirements, and they are charged with nitrogen, never with compressed air.
- Hydraulic power units and power packs, pumps, tanks and heat exchangers.
- Valve, hatch and damper cylinders, pilot-operated check valves and safety blocks.
- Filtration: return and pressure elements, desiccant breathers, clogging indicators.
- Hydropneumatic accumulators, unloading blocks, pressure gauges, sensors and test points.
We supply these components and crimp your hoses in Riom, one at a time or as a set made up ahead of an outage. Always tell us the fluid: a biodegradable oil of the HEES or HETG type (ISO 15380) and a fire-resistant HFC or HFDU fluid do not take the same rubber compounds or the same seals. Note the working pressure and the temperature as well.
