Automotive
Garages, HGV workshops, body shops, testing centres and recovery trucks: Hydro Service Auvergne remakes hard-to-find hoses from your sample and maintains vehicle lifts and lifting arms.
An automotive workshop deals with two sets of hydraulics: those of the vehicles coming in, and those of its own equipment. On the vehicles, power steering, air conditioning and fuel hoses age from the inside as much as from the outside, and the original part becomes impossible to find, or priced out of reach, as soon as the model gets some age on it.
That is where remaking from a sample earns its place: from the hose you have taken off we read the length between sealing faces, the type and orientation of the hose ends, the inside diameter and the fluid, then we make the part again. The fluid governs the tubing. Power steering runs hot and in pulsation. Air conditioning calls for a barrier liner compatible with the refrigerant and for clean assembly, recovery and recharging staying on your side. A fuel line needs tubing intended for hydrocarbons. Braking, on the other hand, is not remade: those are type-approved parts, to be replaced with an off-the-shelf assembly, then bled and checked.
- Power steering, air conditioning, fuel and hydraulic circuit hoses.
- Cylinders and power units for vehicle lifts, presses, lifting tables and play detector plates.
- Cylinders, directional control valves and hoses for recovery arms and car transporter beds.
- Fittings, adapters, quick couplings and protective caps.
On the equipment side, vehicle lift, press and recovery arm share the same weak points: a compact power unit, one or two cylinders, a safety check valve and hoses out in the line of fire. We remake from a sample, crimp in the Riom workshop and supply the fittings that put the connection back together. Bring in the part you have taken off, damaged or not: it serves as the pattern. Give us the fluid and the working pressure, and we will tell you what can be remade and what has to stay an original part.
