View the product →This family covers everything that carries air, water or dust without going up in pressure. The main criterion is no longer the pressure but the resistance to vacuum, the temperature and the flexibility available for fitting.
Extraction sleeves for chips, dust or fumes are reinforced with a steel or PVC helix and are selected on their bend radius and their resistance to abrasion. Ventilation sleeves are selected on the air temperature and the fire-reaction class required. Flexible crystal PVC tubing suits low-pressure transfers where the flow needs to be seen, polyurethane stands up to abrasion far better, silicone takes high temperatures and rubber absorbs knocks.
- A sleeve that is too short and pulled taut in a straight line vibrates and cracks: leave some slack between the two fixing points.
- With dry, fast-moving dust, use an antistatic sleeve with an earthed continuity wire.
- Check the real temperature in service, not the average temperature: it is the peak that destroys the wall.
We cut to length, supply the clamps and joining sleeves, and replace worn sleeves on your installations.
