Materials handling and lifting
Forklift trucks, stackers, access platforms, lift tables and workshop cranes: Hydro Service Auvergne crimps new mast hoses, repairs cylinders and supplies lifting components.
On a lifting appliance, the hydraulics carry the load and, with it, the safety of everyone working underneath it or up in the air. Forklift trucks, stackers and access platforms run short cycles all day long: the hoses that follow the mast pass over a pulley, just like the lift chains, and extend on every cycle.
So it is not the major assemblies that fail first, but the short hoses and the seals. A mast that creeps down on its own with the load raised points to internal leakage: cylinder seals, or a worn spool in the directional control valve, and the cause has to be identified before any part is replaced. A leaking rod seal marks the floor slab, which rules the machine out indoors and in food processing. Safety devices, for their part, give no warning: the hose burst valve fitted as close as possible to the cylinder is there to stop the descent if a hose fails. It is checked and replaced, never bypassed.
- Mast, free-lift, tilt and sideshift cylinders, and outrigger cylinders.
- Hose burst valves, pilot-operated check valves, pressure relief valves and counterbalance blocks.
- Directional control valves, 12, 24 and 48 V solenoid directional control valves, compact power units and hand pumps for workshop cranes.
- Short mast hoses, rigid tubes, ORFS fittings and adjustable elbows.
We crimp hoses to your sample or to your dimensions, in compact EN 857 where the bend radius on a mast is tight, and with ORFS faces and their front O-ring wherever vibration works metal-to-metal joints loose. We strip cylinders, replace the seals and put them back under pressure. Periodic statutory inspection reports often flag a leak or a tired hose: that is the part we deal with. Bring us the part you have removed, or note the bore, the rod diameter, the stroke and the closed length between pin centres.
