An industrial fitting is defined by its coupling family, its nominal diameter and its material. Two fittings of the same diameter from different families will not mate: this is the number one cause of ordering errors.

The lever-operated Camlock, derived from specification A-A-59326, comes in types A to F plus the DC and DP dust caps and plugs: each type combines a coupling end, either a male cam adapter or a female lever coupler, with a threaded or hose-tail connection end. The Guillemin, widely used in France on water and irrigation, is symmetrical: two identical half-couplings mate with each other, with or without a safety latch. Symmetrical fire-service couplings follow the standard fire-service sizes. The hook-type express fitting suits low-pressure transfer lines that have to be made up quickly.

  • On products under pressure, a latch or a pin is mandatory: a Camlock lever will spring open on its own under vibration.
  • Choose the material to suit the fluid: brass for water and air, 316 stainless steel for food processing and corrosive products, aluminium to save weight.
  • The fitting seal is a replaceable item: nitrile, EPDM, FKM or PTFE depending on the product, not automatically the black one it came with.

We identify a fitting from the sample you bring in and assemble the complete unit onto your tubing.
